

If breakfast was so bad why did you have the same thing and eat it ALL every morning. This is why the window wasn't open and there were no extras in the room. As I had no where else to put you I had to show you to the room. I am not sure why you arrived early after being told 4 times your room would not be ready before 4pm. Unfortunately I work on my own and therefore cannot always be at home. The door was not answered between 10-11am as I was not home, I was out shopping for your breakfast items. You did ask a number of times (4 if I recall correctly) if the room would be ready before 4pm and each time you were told it wasn't. Nothing nice to say (this is very unusual for me) other than location was good.… Warm welcomes are usually natural but think Debbie thought this just a job she had to do. Proprietors have always given us a time for our room and this usually means we can have a little rest. Which she didn't Worst treatment I've experienced ever. Not the kind of person to even say goodbye. Debbie was inhospitable and hardly spoke a word to anyone nor did she smile. No bed straightening, hoovering or cleaning involved. Breakfast only 3 cereals no yoghurt or fruit. No covid measures in room not even an open window. I was then asked for my payment before getting the luggage in or seeing the room. Debbie didn't ring to tell me this though very unwelcoming. We are in our 70s so we went to the property at 3.00 cold and wet to see if we could wait inside. Rang property at 1.00 clock to ask and was told abruptly 4.00 clock. We were only there 3 nights so did what we always do and went off to enjoy. Arrived at Keswick and parked outside no response when I rang bell. Lets face it the rooms can't all be ready at the same time.
